Our ‘Winter Book Box’ theme is centered around the adorable winter themed book The Mitten by Jan Brett. In the book, the main character Nicki, loses a white mitten that is then discovered by several woodland animals who try to squeeze inside.
Four lessons coordinate with winter curriculum topics: How Snow is Formed and Snowflake Shapes, Animals that Hibernate, Animals that Migrate, Retelling a Story. An Art Masterpiece lesson is also included with Lesson 2 (Animals that Hibernate).
Everything you need to teach these topics including lessons, worksheets, art projects, crafts, and the paint, paint brushes, glue, etc. are included in the clear zipper case.
